Alicia Lee serves as Senior Associate in Legislative Affairs, Division of Government Affairs and Public Policy at the American College of Physicians (ACP). ACP is the largest medical specialty organization and the second-largest physician group in the United States. ACP members include 133,000 internal medicine physicians (internists), related subspecialists, and medical students. Internists specialize in the prevention, detection, and treatment of illness in adults. Prior to joining ACP, she worked for Representative John Culberson (TX), handling his appropriations, budget, health care and tax matters.A native of Houston, Texas, she graduated from Wake Forest University with a BA in Communications. In her free time, she volunteers with the Junior League of Washington and serves as a Budget District Director for Kappa Alpha Theta. She lives in Washington, D.C. with her Yorkshire terrier, Snickers.
