Dr. Chris Peltier, MD, FAAP, received his BS in Biology at the University of Cincinnati and his MD at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed his pediatric residency and Chief Residency at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. Since 1999 Dr. Peltier has been a general pediatrician in independent practice at Pediatric Associates of Mount Carmel, Inc., located in Cincinnati, Ohio, and a partner in the practice since 2001.
In addition to providing routine well and ill care to his patients, his clinical interests include infant nutrition and mental health. Dr. Peltier is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and serves as the Director of the Community Section in the Division of General and Community Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. His main academic interests are community-based medical education, faculty development of clinical preceptors, and professional identity formation and sense of belonging in trainees.
