Christine G. Leyden, RN, MSN is URAC’s vice president and GM Client Services and Chief Accreditation Officer. Ms. Leyden has been with URAC for six years and has served as an accreditation reviewer and the Director of Accreditation. She was involved in the standard development process for URAC’s new PBM Accreditation, International Accreditation Programs, Disease Management Programs and the URAC Medicare Advantage Deeming Initiatives.
Ms. Leyden is a registered nurse with a Master’s Degree in Community Health as a Continuity of Care Clinical Specialist; with more than over 15 years of managed care expertise which includes; consulting, director of case management and utilization review, Medicaid case management, disease management and quality improvement. Christine has published numerous articles on case management, disease management, and managed care. On a national level Christine has served on President of the American Association for Continuity of Care, and former Section Editor for Pediatric Nursing. Her clinical background includes National Institute of Health, National Cancer Institute, children’s home care, and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
