Katie Comando has spent her career in nonprofit and public sectors, focusing on health policy. Her career in government includes working on the Domestic Policy Council Health and Veterans Team during the Biden-Harris Administration, the Health Division of the Office of Management and Budget during the Biden and Trump administrations, the Health Resources and Services Administration, and the Senate Health Education Labor and Pensions Committee under the leadership of Chairwoman Murray.
Before receiving her Master of Public Affairs at the School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University, Comando spent eight years in New York working in primary care patient navigation, operations, interpretation, advocacy, and government affairs.
Comando was a 2023 Presidential Management Fellow, a 2021 Geiger Gibson Health Policy Fellow, and a 2014 AmeriCorps.
