Lisa Hunter serves as Senior Director of Federal Policy & Advocacy at United States of Care.
Lisa brings to the USofCare more than fifteen years of experience working to expand access to affordable health care through roles in the federal government, nonprofits, electoral campaigns, and the private sector. Most recently, Lisa led strategic partnerships at Families USA, mobilizing advocates to push for reforms to Medicaid, Medicare, and the health insurance marketplace, with a focus on health equity. Previously, Lisa led advocacy and government affairs at the Better Medicare Alliance, where she worked with Congress, the administration and cross-sector allies on efforts to improve and stabilize the Medicare Advantage program.
