Namrata Uberoi is the Director of Health Policy at the West Health Policy Center, where she leads initiatives focused on advancing accountable care and evidence-based policy solutions to improve health care affordability, access, and outcomes for older adults. Her work centers on developing and promoting policies that strengthen value-based and population health models to drive system-wide transformation toward high-quality, cost-effective care.

Prior to joining West Health, Dr. Uberoi was a Senior Manager and Health Economist at RTI International, where she led teams supporting the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in designing, implementing, and evaluating value-based care payment models that promote accountability for cost and quality. She also managed projects for the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) focused on the generation and translation of evidence to inform care delivery and policy.

Dr. Uberoi brings extensive experience from across the federal health policy landscape, having served in research and analytic roles at the Congressional Research Service (CRS), the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE), the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Her work has consistently focused on leveraging data and policy design to align incentives for better care, better health, and lower costs.

She holds a PhD in Health Economics from The Pennsylvania State University and an MPH in Public Health Management and Policy from the University of Florida.
