Peter Hollmann, MD, is Chief Medical Officer for Brown Medicine and a member of the Division of Geriatrics. In practice for over 40 years, he has been the medical director of a long-term care hospital, nursing home and home care agency.
He is nationally recognized as an expert on coding and payment policy and is the past chair of the CPT Editorial Panel and is currently a member of the RBRVS Update Committee. His experience includes two decades as a part-time medical director of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of RI.
He is active in the America Geriatrics Society and served as the organization’s 2021-2022 president. He has been very involved in quality improvement and practice transformation locally and nationally, serving on the NCQA Geriatrics Measures Advisory Panel and AGS Beers Criteria panel.
