As key US Senators work toward a bipartisan solutions for Medicare beneficiaries enrolled in dual coverage, PCC called for urgently needed reforms to improve health through whole-person primary care. Key recommendations included in the March 15th letter were:
- Extending continuous coverage protections to dually eligible beneficiaries
- Enacting an add-on payment for Medicare primary care safety net practices, recently recommended by MedPAC
- Enact bipartisan mental health integration reforms proposed in 2022.
