The National Academy of Medicine (NASEM) calls for shifting primary care payment to hybrid models (part fee-for-service, part capitation) and recommends such models be risk-adjusted for medical and social complexity. The PCC is excited to host leading experts to discuss data sources and models used to identify medical risk and social complexity, their strengths and limitations, and how they can support comprehensive, equitable primary care.
